This happens to men around the world. Therefore, hair transplantation application has emerged as a necessity. Hair transplantation is applied with different devices today as medical technologies have increased with the developing world conditions.
The main feature of the procedure is the collection of hair follicles with devices. This should be done by the right team with the necessary talent.
The famous actor Ben Affleck, who had the hair transplantation procedure, chose the relevant method and ended his baldness problem. The actor regained his former appearance with this procedure.
The actor experienced hair loss especially as a result of aging and intense working conditions, and found the solution with hair transplantation. The actor, who had the application done in a private clinic, continues his life in an extremely satisfied state.
Hair Transplantation Methods
Hair transplantation is a sector that is developing day by day. New techniques that differ according to the technology that are less painful are now used. The first method in question is the FuT method.
It is also named as the oldest method that uses classical strips. The second technique is the FUE technique. The process time of this method in which individual hair follicles are collected is 8 hours. It takes a long time and is a costly method.
Hair is usually collected from the nape where the follicles are the strongest for the hair transplantation process. Even if a person is completely bald, follicles can be collected from the roots of chest hair for the necessary transplantation.
During the process, the roots in question should be collected very carefully. Therefore, hair transplantation should be done by an expert. If an experienced dermatologist takes the necessary precautions and great care, the transplantation process is completed successfully.
Hair Transplantation with the FUT Technique
This method is also known as the classical method among hair transplantation methods. The method is carried out by collecting hair follicles individually just above the nape as micrografts. Subsequently they are placed one by one on the hairless area as strips. A scar in the form of a line remains after the procedure on the nape of the neck. The scar disappears in time.
An average of 5000 or 6000 hair follicles are added with this method in one session. Due to the content of the method, more transplantation is not possible in one session. 3 sessions with 6 month intervals are carried out to restore the hair to its former state with the FUT method. Each session takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Hair Transplantation with the FUE Technique
FUE is the newest method that has emerged in recent years. With the FUE technique, hair is also taken from the back of the neck, where it is the strongest. The way the hair is collected is different from the FUT technique. The roots in a 1mm diameter of tissue are collected one by one. With this method, the process can be carried out with intervals of 3 to 4 days. An average of 4000 to 5000 hair follicles are transplanted in each session.
The number of sessions varies according to the general condition of the person and the size of the bald area. Sessions vary according to the sparseness or density of the hair follicles. Less hair transplantation is carried out per session compared to the FUT method.
The method falls far behind the classical method in terms of the number of transplanted hair. However, hair transplant intervals are very close. Of course, this situation varies according to the relevant bald area.
