How to Sleep After a Hair Transplant
When sleeping on your back, use two pillows and a neck pillow (inside the box) to prevent the grafts from rubbing against them and minimize swelling.

This is typically done the first or second day after surgery when you have a follow-up appointment to see your physician and have any bandages changed or removed.
Do I need to apply anything to the recipient areas after a hair transplant?
Yes, we have a hair care lotion to moisten the recipient area and receive scabs. You can also use coconut oil, argan oil, calming lotions or healing cream starting two weeks post-surgery.

This is typical. Swelling generally subsides at 5–7 days and typically resolves in 10–14 days.

Is it normal to feel itchy after a hair transplant?
Burning and some itching are routine healing, so yes. Use the saline spray that comes with it to decrease itching. If necessary, your doctor may recommend a mild dermal steroid ointment.

The pimples form just right at the growth stage. Avoid squeezing them. Most will pop when you take a hot shower. If they become painful or inflamed, you can use the repair cream.
